Agreement to Terms
By downloading or using Barrel, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.
Project Status
Barrel is an archived project and is no longer in active development. The app is no longer available for purchase. This website is maintained so existing customers can continue to download the app and use the license they previously purchased. No further updates, fixes, or new features will be released.
License
Licenses purchased prior to the project being archived remain valid for personal or internal business use on your own devices, subject to the activation limits of the original license tier. Redistribution, sublicensing, or resale is strictly prohibited.
As-Is and No Support
Barrel is provided strictly "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. No customer support, bug fixes, or technical assistance will be offered for the archived version.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barrel and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, system failure, or any other harm — arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.
You assume full responsibility for any consequences resulting from the use of the app and agree to back up important configurations before use.
Third-Party Services
Barrel integrates with or relies on third-party services (such as Homebrew, MAS, and Sparkle). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these services and disclaim all liability arising from their use or failure.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use Barrel for any unlawful or harmful purpose. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass any technical restrictions in the software.
Intellectual Property
Barrel, including all code, design, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of its developer. You may not use the Barrel name, branding, or assets without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Manitoba law.
